Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in backend development, specifically within the gaming industry. Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, is essential, as is proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or Go. Experience with database technologies and version control systems is also required.

Responsibilities

The Principal Technical Producer, Backend will oversee and make critical decisions on live game issues, evolve and maintain best practices for development operations, and work with the Backend & Infra/Platform engineering team to improve Marvel SNAP’s cloud infrastructure and reduce cloud operational costs. They will also manage vendor relationships and costs for our AWS Cloud Infrastructure, coordinate release schedules for client and server hotfixes, create and approve pull requests, and manage client build configurations and store releases across various platforms.
