Requirements

Candidates must possess an active security clearance and at least 8 years of configuration/development experience with complex integration technologies. They should have demonstrated ability to consult and influence in varied customer environments, providing thought leadership on business process and technical problems. Maintaining at least two ServiceNow mainline CIS certifications and the ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is required. Experience architecting systems integrations and creating complex high-level architectures is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Principal Technical Consultant will act as the functional and technical expert on customer engagement teams, configuring ServiceNow Integrations based on best practices to accelerate customer business outcomes. Responsibilities include devising integration development plans and architectures, implementing ServiceNow AI offerings like Virtual Agent and Generative AI, and developing solutions specific to user requirements gathered in workshops. The role involves coordinating with other developers, ensuring best practices are followed, acting as an SME to solve complex integration and AI issues, correcting data conflicts, analyzing and improving instance configurations, and identifying, debugging, and advising on system errors or architecture issues.
