Candidates should possess 8+ years of professional experience in designing, building, and maintaining production-grade software systems across varied tech stacks, with strong backend engineering skills and experience designing APIs and scalable services. They should be proficient across the full application stack, including frontend frameworks, backend services, and cloud infrastructure, and have a working understanding of AWS services such as VPCs, IAM, EC2, ECS, and S3.
As a Principal Software Engineer, the candidate will design, build, and take ownership of complex, high-impact applications and services, working across diverse codebases and tech stacks. They will drive and advise the full lifecycle of application development, define and promote engineering best practices, collaborate with cross-functional partners, improve CI/CD pipelines, mentor engineers, and participate in the operational health of systems by ensuring stability and uptime. They will also communicate clearly with stakeholders and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
