Responsibilities

  • Support Conversational AI mobile engineering team in driving down implementation costs, championing continuous improvement, driving innovation, and mentoring engineers on enterprise-scale software applications/frameworks
  • Build SDKs integrated into mobile apps for seamless spoken language interactions with connected devices
  • Lead work of small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, on assigned projects by providing documents, direction, examples; identifying solutions/timelines; reviewing/approving solutions; implementing architectural patterns; and performing design/code reviews
  • Troubleshoot business/production issues by analyzing information, engaging support teams, formulating action plans, directing actions, interpreting results, performing root cause analysis, and documenting to prevent recurrence
  • Lead discovery phase of medium to large projects: partner with cross-functional teams for high-level design, obtain approvals, drive proof-of-concept, and implement prototypes
  • Develop innovation strategies, processes, best practices: lead internal/cross-functional teams, assess opportunities, document scopes, develop plans/timelines, communicate with/influence executives, resolve team differences
  • Lead medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional mobile engineering projects: collaborate on requirements, translate to multi-OS solutions, gather info (designs, PRDs, wireframes), write/develop code, integrate solutions, develop UI, test functionality, communicate status
