Candidates should possess 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing user experience and server-side application frameworks, along with exceptional Java and JavaScript skills. Deep knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, REST and associated technologies is required, as well as expertise in web user interface unit testing, profiling, and code tuning. Strong problem-solving skills and a quick learning curve are also essential, alongside exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI-powered tools and analyzing AI-driven insights, is highly desired.
This Principal Software Engineer will produce high-quality design and code on aggressive deadlines for shared UI components, providing guidelines and mentoring application teams on UI component implementation and design. They will also design and implement comprehensive UI/UX solutions by understanding customer problems, product goals, and technical requirements, collaborating with design and platform teams to deliver engaging user interfaces. Furthermore, the role involves participating in all technical aspects of team deliverables, including quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability, and communicating technical decisions (architecture and design) to business and engineering teams.
