Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated success owning strategic, high-impact product areas at scale
  • Deep experience and a consistent track record in building, launching and scaling successful products across organizations
  • Hands-on experience in go-to-market strategy and delivery, great understanding of customer acquisition via online channels (paid ads, social)
  • Hands-on experience working closely with customers, analyzing their needs, diving deep into consumer behaviour, industry trends and collaborating with research teams
  • MBA from a leading program, ideally with a focus on technology and/or entrepreneurship
  • Prior experience in management consulting is a strong plus
  • Able to operate independently, multi-task, manage ambiguity and perform well at a fast pace and under pressure
  • Strong communicator with the ability to articulate problems, vision, requirements, strategy, plans, challenges and constraints
  • Located or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA (hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in office)

Responsibilities

  • Own multi-year vision and strategy for complex product areas with broad company impact and significant visibility to company leadership
  • Responsible for all stages of product development and delivery, including ideation, research, business modeling, technical specifications, building, launching, measuring, optimizing and scaling (both new products/features and existing ones)
  • Be the advocate for customers and understand community needs to build delightful experiences
  • Break down sophisticated challenges into clear actions, make trade-off decisions balancing implementation details and time-to-market, and align cross-functional teams
  • Use qualitative and quantitative analysis to drive product and go-to-market decisions
  • Accountable for product vision, cost/ROI analysis, strategy, development, and execution of new initiatives and features to drive impact; lead team in defining, identifying and tracking metrics aligned with user goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, research, marketing, security, legal and other teams
  • Communicate the problem being solved, vision, crisp requirements, strategy, plan, challenges and constraints to senior management and collaborators
