Requirements

  • Versatile and persistent product engineer
  • Ability to set up reusable building blocks across the stack
  • Advocate for the time and space to do so
  • Experience in building software for artists (preferred, given the founder's background)
  • Strong product management and design skills

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership over a large portion of one of Ashby’s products.
  • Own projects end-to-end, wearing hats traditionally worn by product and design.
  • Research competitors and write product specifications.
  • Make product and design decisions.
  • Build software in an almost-no-meeting culture.
  • Contribute to a culture that encourages innovation and ownership.
