Requirements

Responsibilities

The Principal Motion Planning Engineer will research, develop algorithms, and build software to generate safe, comfortable, and intuitive routes and motions for autonomous vehicles. Responsibilities include developing various planning algorithms such as search-based, sampling-based, optimization-based, linear-temporal logic, and decision-making under uncertainty. The role involves integrating and evaluating motion planning and prediction algorithms, designing and building robust and scalable codebase for rapid exploration, and interfacing with perception, prediction, trajectory optimization, and control components. Additionally, the engineer will participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and foster a culture of product-focused engineering, research, and development.
