Competent to perform and lead programming, project management, and development assignments without close supervision
Skilled in handling complex application/technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support
Ability to work independently on complex systems or infrastructure components
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience across the mobile application space

Responsibilities

Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Caterpillar’s advanced mobile SDK
Architect a best-in-class platform supporting a diverse portfolio of digital applications
Deliver SDK plugins for enterprise mobile applications across Caterpillar
Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering teams to ensure exceptional delivery standards
Lead all programming, project management, and development assignments, focusing on complex aspects
Work on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution
Drive application development focused on delivering valuable business features
Mentor and assist software engineers, providing technical assistance and direction
Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits
Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
Guide the team in developing structured application/interface code, new program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides
Communicate with end users and internal customers to direct development, debugging, and testing for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness
Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of components requiring careful planning and execution
