Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering) or military experience
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
  • Preferred: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
  • Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred: 3+ years experience in financial services, banking or technology industries
  • Preferred: 3+ years experience partnering with senior leaders and internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis
  • Lead development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences and clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teams
  • Accurately analyze & explain key cost drivers and monthly variances, suggest actions to the business, and help manage the regular reporting process
  • Proactively identify and lead new analysis that drives additional insights into business performance and opportunities
  • Partner with finance leaders and their teams, as well as other internal stakeholders
  • Provide management and business clients with project statuses
  • Work closely with the finance team to help identify areas and processes for driving efficiencies
  • React to ad-hoc requests and special projects
  • Manage, prioritize, and delegate tasks independently
  • Perform financial data analysis in preparing financial statements and build reports for higher level associates
  • Challenge existing processes to be more proactive, effective, and efficient
  • Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights
  • Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior audiences
  • Foster trusted business relationships
