Requirements

Candidates must possess 10+ years of experience in software test automation, demonstrating strong technical leadership abilities and project management experience. They should provide a practical approach to complex testing, specifically in regression testing, with proficiency in QA processes, methodologies, tools, and different testing approaches. Strong experience in Java, Object-Oriented Methodologies, and automated test frameworks like Selenium and Cucumber is required, alongside expertise in testing Restful API & HTTP web services, JSON/XML, and Web-based applications. Good working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and JIRA, along with experience in Mobile Testing and Automation using tools like Appium, XCUI, and E is necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Engineer - Test Automation, the individual will learn and understand the Veeva Vault platform and applications, developing and maintaining automation scripts (API and UI) while communicating status and working effectively with onshore/offshore managers. They will troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues related to test automation, perform code reviews, and act as a technical mentor to team members. The role involves working closely with managers to define metrics for measuring code quality, collaborating with scrum masters on sprint planning and backlog grooming, and playing a key role in the growth of Veeva Hyderabad by contributing to recruiting initiatives.
