Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing and contract strategies for Integrated Distribution Networks (IDN), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and Aggregations consistent with corporate objectives and Enterprise sales strategies
  • Advise commercial stakeholders on pricing and contracting strategies to drive revenue growth and long-term contractual sustainability
  • Partner with pricing and marketing business partners to recommend pricing and contracting approaches for new product introductions, including identifying target customers for early adoption
  • Support contracting needs of assigned Enterprise targets, including executing pricing strategies, responding to customer pricing requests, complying with price governance, and completing hospital requests timely per Medtronic strategies, terms, and conditions
  • Provide robust and accurate pricing analysis, negotiate pricing within management parameters in conjunction with Sales, Legal, and Marketing, and provide rationale for pricing approvals
  • Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities per company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  • Act as a liaison between Enterprise Accounts & Services and Operating Units
  • Support the Commercial Transformation big deal process
  • Provide comprehensive business reviews, enable programs and contracts to drive revenue, monitor pricing integrity, and protect margin
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop strategy and tactics for key business initiatives
  • Support quarterly business review efforts with regional offices and local sales teams as needed
  • Deliver and/or manage assigned projects from design to implementation, adhering to policies while working with stakeholders
