Responsibilities
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources
- Collaborate with teams, educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and maintain in-stock levels while controlling shrinkage
- Plan bakery productions and ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency in decorative designs
- Decorate bakery items using various products and tools
- Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory standards
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and make business decisions
- Drive bakery area performance, including quality/date control, waste elimination, and preparation for seasonal events (e.g., holidays, graduations)
- Identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues
- Act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service, and foster a culture of belonging
- Build team relationships, communicate positively, mentor associates, and recognize contributions
- Maintain highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance; model Walmart values
- Deliver results with customer/member focus, balance priorities, and drive continuous improvements
