Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
  • Successful experience in the print or packaging industry (time in a similar manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Capability to work in Finishing and Press Operator Levels I & II
  • Ability to pass a test for color vision deficiency
  • Physically able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

  • Full knowledge of completing press set-up and changeover
  • Capable of running 4-color process jobs without assistance
  • Mix Pantone ink colors
  • Ensure quality in the items they produce
  • Perform weekly periodic maintenance of all equipment used in Production and maintain PM log
  • Notify the Production Supervisor of any problems or questions with equipment
  • Be agile, moving to where the work is if necessary and as directed by the Production Supervisor
  • Keep production area clean, neat, and organized
  • Work with pre-production individuals as a team, and with respect
  • Effectively and efficiently manage time
