Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh food items daily by following recipes, including always warm and ready rotisserie chicken
- Properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure freshest items available
- Juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders
- Ensure high-quality products are available in prepared foods area
- Ensure shelves are clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products
- Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
- Maintain Sales Floor by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Communicate effectively with team members and be flexible to business needs, working in other areas
- Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality
- Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them
- Drive performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise
- Ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste
- Guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures
- Be an advocate for the department and club by valuing member's experience, modeling high-quality service and products
- Execute basics at highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use Open Door Policy
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies
