  • Strong knowledge of UK consumer media and influencer landscape relevant to clients
  • Ability to craft stories that land with journalists, using consumer and tech contacts; loves pitching and meeting media/influencer contacts
  • Finger on the pulse of culture, social trends, and media landscape; shares relevant articles and updates
  • Passion for tech world (e.g., web cams, dash cams) with previous experience working with consumer tech brands and media
  • Builds rapport with clients, listens carefully to requests
  • Manages client reviews and approvals on documents or before work commences
  • Records all client meetings, key conversations, and decisions in call notes or contact reports
  • Collaborative, proactive relationship with clients and colleagues; acts as central point of contact with positive attitude
  • Thinks one step ahead, solutions-focused (brings resolutions, not just problems)
  • Actively contributes to creative briefing and idea development
  • Conducts research into clients or markets to inform creative development
  • Informed of status of all retained and campaign/project activities

Responsibilities

  • Execute campaigns: distribute latest products to media/influencers for launches, write news releases on consumer trends
  • Support new business: research, idea generation, pitch in meetings demonstrating earned media skills
  • Build and maintain press and influencer relationships
  • Craft and pitch stories to journalists, leveraging contacts
  • Monitor and share culture, social trends, media updates with team
  • Manage client relationships: build rapport, listen to requests, handle reviews/approvals
  • Record client meetings, conversations, and decisions
  • Act as central point of contact for clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrate proactivity and solutions-focus in client and internal work
  • Contribute to creative briefing, idea development, and research for accounts
  • Track and manage status of all account activities
