5+ years of experience with Postgres security, encryption, RLS, and permissions
Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL internals (parser, planner, WAL mechanics, MVCC implementation)
Hands-on experience building PostgreSQL extensions in C and Rust
Strong troubleshooting skills for managed PostgreSQL deployments (diagnosing custom extensions, analyzing core dumps, resolving performance problems)
Experience building testing and owning idempotent deployments to thousands of Postgres instances
Understanding of complex extension ecosystems (compatibility, upgrade paths, conflicts)
Experience with PostgreSQL's background worker framework, shared memory management, and hook system
Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in async or globally distributed teams
