Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift (7pm–7am rotating schedule) in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary
  • Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested
  • Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Close and color vision required
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions over a prolonged period including overhead lifting and reaching
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Standards, and PPE requirements (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Inspect capsules on inspection trays and remove defects such as odd shapes, transfer marks, and leakers
  • Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP’s, and MSDS memos
  • Clean used trays/deeps, sweep capsules from floor, and remove lodged capsules in equipment
  • Operate deepless rooms with vision system
  • Sample and test product
  • Operate box maker machine and transfer information to SAP
