Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field
  • Strong background in cancer pharmacology, drug resistance, and functional genomics
  • Hands-on experience with CRISPR/Cas9, lentiviral systems, and mouse xenograft models
  • Proficiency in next-generation sequencing data analysis and interpretation (preferred)
  • First authorship in publications in peer-reviewed journals or accepted in a peer-reviewed journal
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and scientific writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and characterize in vitro and in vivo resistance models using cancer cell lines and mouse xenograft tumor models
  • Perform multi-omics profiling (WES, RNA-seq, methylation analysis and other) to identify molecular alterations associated with acquired and intrinsic resistance
  • Conduct functional validation of candidate resistance mechanisms using gene editing and gain-of-function systems
  • Think critically and creatively while applying strong organizational and planning skills
  • Actively participate in cross-functional group collaborations
  • Present at company internal meetings as well as at national or international scientific conferences
