Requirements

Australian Citizen with an active security clearance or eligible for obtaining security clearance
Willingness to work in the Canberra office at least 3 days per week (relocation to Canberra welcome)
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Innovative thinking and comfort with ambiguity
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong organisational and time management skills
Experience managing a small team of at least 2 people and guiding junior team members
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, handle disputes, and work closely with clients

Responsibilities

Support adherence to project governance frameworks and standards
Maintain project documentation including charters, plans, and risk registers
Ensure compliance with organisational policies
Coordinate schedules, resources, and activities for smooth project execution
Track key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
Prepare for governance meetings and project reviews
Monitor, log, and escalate project risks and issues
Support development and execution of mitigation plans
Prepare and distribute regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations
Track KPIs and project metrics to provide insights to stakeholders
Assist in tracking project budgets, forecasts, and actuals
Support procurement processes including vendor management and invoice tracking
Act as a point of contact for project queries
Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders
Support workshops, meetings, and presentations
Work closely with project managers and PMO team members to foster a collaborative environment
Share best practices and contribute to process improvement
