- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with PLS-CADD software in a professional setting
- Proficiency in conducting structural analysis and design of overhead transmission and distribution lines
- Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and practices related to overhead line design
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and accurate work
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to pursue licensure is a plus
Responsibilities
- Utilize PLS-CADD software to perform detailed design and analysis of overhead transmission and distribution lines
- Generate accurate models, profiles, and plans for new construction, upgrades, and maintenance projects
- Conduct thorough structural analysis, including sag-tension calculations, clearance checks, and conductor optimization
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate PLS-CADD outputs into overall project designs and documentation
- Provide technical expertise and support to project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to PLS-CADD and overhead line design
