Requirements

  • Four-year College Degree required
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years Rare Disease, Oncology sales or sales management experience, required
  • Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Experience maintaining accurate records of all sales activities
  • Proven ability to consistently meet/exceed defined territory sales goals
  • Experience with Salesforce, Veeva preferred
  • Advanced listening, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and convey accurate complex product-related information to Healthcare Professionals, in an educated, reassuring, and professional manner
  • Ability to accept and quickly apply coaching and feedback to improve individual performance and customer experience
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks across multiple systems
  • High work ethic, reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work
  • Ability to be flexible as needed to meet the fluctuating business needs

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls and educate via Zoom meetings to sell an oncology therapeutic to the HCP community
  • Lead a team and manage all operational aspects including training, coaching and performance management of a team of remote oncology inside sales representatives (ISRs)
  • Engage targeted HCPs through daily virtual outreach using phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other approved digital platforms
  • Deliver clinical, product, and access-related messaging aligned with the product's approved indications and the client’s strategic priorities
  • Build strong relationships with providers by understanding their practice needs and tailoring communications accordingly
  • Execute territory business plans in collaboration with the client’s RBDs to drive demand and achieve sales targets in alignment with the client’s objectives
  • Utilize CRM and digital analytics tools to manage call plans, document interactions, and optimize engagement strategies
  • Prioritize customer outreach based on data, insights, and territory segmentation
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the product, its clinical profile, disease state, competitive landscape, and oncology treatment guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance
  • Partner with the client’s field sales leadership, marketing, and market access teams to ensure aligned messaging and effective pull-through strategies
  • Share market intelligence and customer feedback with internal stakeholders to inform broader brand and sales planning
  • Hand off secondary, follow up, or live HCP appointment opportunities to appropriate client Oncology Account Managers
