Requirements

  • 3 years of manufacturing materials experience including direct support of manufacturing product planning value streams and scheduling, or a Bachelor of Science Degree with a minimum of 1 year experience, or an AAS with a comprehensive understanding of production planning and scheduling
  • Continuous improvement systems and processes
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • SAP Business System Experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop production/supply plans that take into account forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity
  • Identify and maintain the appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans
  • Develop production schedules to provide on time delivery of finished goods for customer orders
  • Review part requirements generated by MRP, or Kanban triggers and utilize Pall’s Enterprise System (SAP) to evaluate component material requirements for internal manufacturing consumption as well as external customer orders
  • Release manufacturing production orders and communicate effectively with operations personnel and supervisors on the status of schedule delays, customer expedites or cancellations, and schedule attainment concerns
  • Provide production lead times based on material lead times, production capacity, and capability
  • Collaborate with necessary functions that will assist in determining the appropriate response to the customer or sales entity
  • Control cost, quality, schedule, inventory and health, safety & environmental activities for the location
