Requirements

3 years of manufacturing materials experience including direct support of manufacturing product planning value streams and scheduling, or a Bachelor of Science Degree with a minimum of 1 year experience, or an AAS with a comprehensive understanding of production planning and scheduling
Continuous improvement systems and processes
Strong MS Excel skills
SAP Business System Experience, preferred

Responsibilities

Develop production/supply plans that take into account forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity
Identify and maintain the appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans
Develop production schedules to provide on time delivery of finished goods for customer orders
Review part requirements generated by MRP, or Kanban triggers and utilize Pall’s Enterprise System (SAP) to evaluate component material requirements for internal manufacturing consumption as well as external customer orders
Release manufacturing production orders and communicate effectively with operations personnel and supervisors on the status of schedule delays, customer expedites or cancellations, and schedule attainment concerns
Provide production lead times based on material lead times, production capacity, and capability
Collaborate with necessary functions that will assist in determining the appropriate response to the customer or sales entity
Control cost, quality, schedule, inventory and health, safety & environmental activities for the location
