Requirements

  • Min BA degree
  • Preferably with hands-on experience in Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good judgement along with good decision making, communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecast, inventory levels, and production capacity
  • Track and follow up the progress of work orders and ensure they are closed in a timely manner
  • Adjust and manage production WIP to sustain optimal operational performance
  • Advise on strategies to optimize and accelerate the order fulfillment
  • Quickly identify potential risks and escalate work orders that may be at risk of missing deadlines
  • Collaborate with the Planning Support team for seamless coordination
  • Reassess and recommit to order fulfillment plans when work orders are missed
  • Proactively analyze data to determine opportunities to improve planning KPI
  • Prepare reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in improvement projects related to planning / manufacturing / automation
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste and improve resource utilization
  • Conduct regular meetings with production teams to address issues and communicate schedule changes
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production planning to continuously improve processes
