Seasoned, strategic, and collaborative fundraising professional
Experience advancing philanthropic goals through principal and planned gifts
Ability to develop and execute strategies for long-term donor relationships with high-net-worth individuals capable of transformational contributions (million- and multi-million-dollar gifts)
Expertise as a front-line major gifts officer, managing a portfolio of 35–50 high-net-worth prospects and partners
Proficiency in the full donor engagement cycle: identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors
Knowledge of donor motivations, gift vehicles, and tax-advantaged philanthropic planning
Experience with legacy and planned gifts, including bequests, charitable gift annuities, trusts, and other complex giving instruments
Ability to provide guidance, technical expertise, and customized giving plans, partnering with legal, finance, and external advisors
Capacity to offer coaching and thought partnership to colleagues, particularly Strategic Partnership Directors, to close current-use and planned gifts

Responsibilities

Actively maintain a portfolio of 35–50 principal gift-level prospects with an associated annual revenue goal, inclusive of both current and planned giving potential
Serve the Strategic Partnership Directors team with planned giving resources, counsel, and sales process support in closing planned gifts
Steward each principal gift donor through ongoing relationship management
