Requirements

  • Up to one year of PIT operation experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and retain a PIT certification
  • Basic computer skills for training purposes
  • Ability to work at heights as needed
  • Ability to climb, bend, and stoop for cleaning responsibilities
  • Ability to work in both cold and hot conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Ability to work at heights of twenty feet or above
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days and no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods

Responsibilities

  • Operate skid steer and articulating type loaders for production purposes
  • Operate all loading and unloading equipment and follow procedures
  • Perform scaling and weighing duties
  • Load and unload hopper bottom trailers
  • Load and unload rail cars
  • Maintain facility cleanliness
  • Cross-training on various job duties within the facility
  • Ensuring a safe work environment
  • Adhering to Tyson Foods policies
