Remote Pharmacy Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. In this fully remote role, you will support pharmacy operations by handling prescription-related tasks and responding to patient phone inquiries. The ideal candidate must be tech-savvy, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience in a pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls from patients, providers, and insurance companies
• Process prescription orders and refills accurately and efficiently
• Verify patient information and ensure proper documentation
• Communicate with pharmacists to clarify prescriptions or resolve issues
• Assist with insurance claims and prior authorizations as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Use pharmacy software systems to update records and manage workflows

Requirements

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent experience preferred
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, remote work environment
