Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process at a closed-door pharmacy
Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure they are back in a timely manner
Provide dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer
Create and maintain accurate customer records
Enter orders, work alongside the pharmacist to ensure accuracy, and provide best-in-class customer service
