Candidates must be a registered pharmacy technician as required by state law, possess a verifiable High School Diploma or GED, and have PTCB National Certification. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required.
As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, responsibilities include performing order entry tasks, collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process, triaging customer service requests, calculating and verifying dosages, assisting with narcotic reviews, providing information regarding allergies and drug interactions, creating and maintaining accurate customer records, and rotating shifts between Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., as well as weekend shifts.
