Requirements

  • Manage pharmacy inventory, focusing on best practices and cold chain protection
  • Conduct onboarding and training for new technicians and pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion
  • Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalate issues as needed
  • Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues
  • Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists, manage performance through observation, feedback, reviews, and gap closure

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen pharmacy performance measures through coaching and follow-up
  • Direct pharmacy team to follow workflow procedures and safety guardrails
  • Contribute to positive patient experiences by coaching team on compassionate care and issue resolution
  • Coach pharmacy team on inventory best practices
  • Ensure all trainees complete required training and licensure on time
  • Maintain full compliance with regulations
  • Manage performance of pharmacy team members, including annual reviews
