  • Conduct onboarding and training for new technicians and pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion
  • Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalate issues
  • Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues
  • Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists, managing performance through observation, feedback, reviews, and gap closure

Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing
  • Strengthen pharmacy performance measures through coaching and follow-up
  • Direct pharmacy team to follow workflow procedures and safety guardrails
  • Contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating compassionate care
  • Coach pharmacy team on empathy, collaboration, and issue resolution
  • Identify, engage, and support Pharmacy Technicians for immunization training
  • Follow and coach on inventory best practices
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and training for store and district
  • Ensure all trainees complete required training/licensure on time
  • Maintain full compliance with regulations and escalate concerns
  • Maintain talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues with timely training
  • Manage performance of pharmacists via observation, feedback, reviews, and improvements
