Requirements
- Lead and develop a pharmacy team providing exceptional patient care
- Promote best practices and lead through change
- Identify and address performance opportunities
- Support novel program awareness and onboard new pharmacy team members
- Recognize colleagues for success
- Exhibit best practices when working the bench, including team coordination, patient counseling, and compliance with legal/regulatory guidelines
- Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline and cross-training
- Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists (where applicable), including performance management and reviews
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
- Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts with coaching and follow-up
- Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflows and safety guardrails
- Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathy, care, collaboration, and issue resolution
- Offer and deliver immunizations; support Pharmacy Technicians in immunization training
- Manage pharmacy inventory, focusing on best practices and cold chain protection
- Conduct onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion
- Escalate compliance issues to Rx District Leader as needed
- Maintain cross-trained colleagues' training for pharmacy licensure
