Requirements
- Act as a role model demonstrating genuine care and setting standards for the pharmacy team
- Lead and develop a pharmacy team providing exceptional patient care

- Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts, including coaching and follow-up to strengthen performance measures
- Follow and direct adherence to pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails
- Demonstrate empathy, genuine care, collaborate with healthcare teams, and proactively resolve insurance/medication issues
- Offer and deliver immunizations; identify, engage, and support Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize
- Manage pharmacy inventory following best practices, with focus on cold chain products
- Conduct onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion of training/licensure
- Ensure full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalate issues as needed
- Partner with Store Manager to maintain talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues and ensure their training/licensure progress
- Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists (where applicable), manage performance via observation, feedback, validation, annual reviews, and gap closure
Responsibilities

- Oversee the pharmacy team during bench shifts

- Support effective management of pharmacy inventory
- Conduct new Technician and Pharmacist onboarding for the store and district
- Ensure pharmacy operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues
- Oversee Staff Pharmacists and DPSs, manage performance, deliver annual reviews, and close gaps
