Requirements

- Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline and cross-training
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
- Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts, including coaching and follow-up for performance measures
- Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following and directing workflow procedures and safety guardrails
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, collaborating with healthcare teams, and resolving insurance/medication issues
- Identify, engage, and support Pharmacy Technicians to learn immunization
- Manage pharmacy inventory, following best practices with focus on cold chain products
- Conduct onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion
- Escalate compliance issues to Rx DL as needed
- Maintain cross-trained colleagues' training for licensure
- Oversee Staff Pharmacists and DPSs, manage performance via observation, feedback, reviews, and gap closure
