Requirements
- Compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to process and accurately dispense prescription orders under the direction of a Pharmacist
- Knowledge to counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs
- Skills to maintain confidential information and controlled medication procedures as permitted by local, state, and federal laws
- Ability to ensure accuracy of chemical composition, structure, properties of substances, and evaluate potential chemical interactions and side effects
- Proficiency in accurate dictation, communication, and interpretation of written prescriptions to/from physicians
- Commitment to confidentiality of information, documentation, and records per Company policies and guidelines
- Customer service skills: acknowledging customers, identifying needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting products/services, maintaining safe environment
- Ability to operate equipment like cash registers for processing purchases with various payment types
- Capability to receive, stock, organize, and maintain pharmacy merchandise/supplies per Company procedures
- Skills in maintaining pharmacy area: handling claims/returns, zoning, arranging merchandise, identifying shrink/damages, ensuring safety
- Merchandise presentation skills: stocking/rotating, removing damaged/out-of-date goods, setting up/cleaning/organizing displays, signing/pricing, securing fragile/high-shrink items

Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret reports, implement/monitor loss prevention/safety controls, oversee safety/operational/quality reviews, develop/implement action plans for compliance
- Provide pharmaceutical care: process/dispense prescriptions under Pharmacist direction, counsel customers on health/medication needs
- Ensure accuracy of chemical composition/structure/properties, evaluate interactions/side effects of medications
- Ensure accurate dictation/communication/interpretation of prescriptions to/from physicians
