Requirements
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. Previous pharmacy, healthcare, or logistics experience is an asset, but not required. Strong detail-oriented skills, clear communication skills in English (both written and verbal), and the ability to work as a team player are essential. Familiarity with pharmacy software and digital tools, particularly experience with Kroll, is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Assistant will accurately register patients and create/maintain up-to-date profiles in the pharmacy system, input prescription history, and assist with the preparation, labelling, packaging, and shipment of prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. They will also respond to inquiries from doctors and patients, manage pharmacy inventory and supplies, ensure accurate documentation, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
