Requirements

Experience in Marketing, Sales, or Retail (required)
Running, Sports, or Athletics industry experience (highly preferred)
Run Club athlete or passion for running, or work experience in the running community (preferred)
Basic knowledge of retail math, inventory management, product merchandising, and retail selling skills
Experienced self-starter with strong negotiation skills and entrepreneurial characteristics
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong time management abilities
Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Highly motivated with a hardworking attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to understand the sport of running and empathize with runners to develop authentic relationships
Field-based role requiring approximately 80% travel
Valid driver's license and clear driving record

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with retail partners, consumers, and the running community
Work closely with Sports Marketing, Product, and Sales teams
Bring the Skechers brand to life through retail presence, events, and regional activations
Partner with key retailers to plan and execute events and promotions to increase brand awareness, drive trial, and improve product sell-through
Deliver engaging brand and product training to retail associates, focusing on Skechers RUN Footwear
Drive trial of Skechers RUN Footwear through grassroots events
Organize and execute consumer events with key retailers, aligning with brand initiatives and product launches
Train retail staff on Skechers Performance brand and products, focusing on Running
Encourage retail staff participation in sales promotions, contests, and events
Participate in sales conferences, trade shows, and special events as directed
