Requirements

  • Strong experience in sensor processing, computer vision, robotics, or related fields
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time or robotics applications
  • Hands-on experience with camera, LiDAR, radar, or similar sensor data
  • Understanding of multi-sensor synchronization, calibration, and characterization
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2 or similar middleware

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve sensor processing pipelines for camera and 3D sensors
  • Build and evaluate algorithms for sensor quality, resiliency, and noise handling
  • Characterize sensor performance, including timing, latency, and synchronization across modalities and build pipelines for monitoring across the fleet
  • Experiment with and integrate new sensors into the autonomy platform
  • Collaborate with perception, autonomy, and hardware teams to diagnose issues and improve multi-sensor performance along with sensor selection
  • Support sensor driver bring-up, configuration, and upgrades as required for current and next generation platforms
  • Own sensor calibration and health pipeline across the entire fleet of robots
