Excellent communication and education skills, with experience conveying information to diverse groups, are also necessary. Familiarity with various healthcare technology platforms is expected.
The Peer Educator will perform routine screening and monitoring of charts to identify gaps in clinical documentation and review clinical decision-making processes and the use of evidence-based treatment modalities. Responsibilities include developing performance improvement plans for providers falling below standards of care and maintaining organized, confidential documentation of chart reviews. The role also involves working consistently within provided workflows for seamless data collection, review, and feedback processes.
