Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes
  • Ability to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor
  • Ability to work in tight spaces
  • Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
  • Ability to walk, squat, and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes
  • Ability to work in a highly structured environment, strictly adhering to provided standard work instructions
  • Ability to follow and understand source documents to verify serial numbers and shipping documents
  • Ability to safely move prime product into confined areas and secure for transportation

Responsibilities

  • Operate various types of Caterpillar product (CTL)
  • Move and store prime product from production line to storage
  • Safely move prime product after completing basic inspection to distribution center
  • Train others in Standard Work
  • Follow documented procedures and standard work, as defined in a variety of source documents, to move machines to correct locations
  • Follow and utilize CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
