Responsibilities
Help PCB Handler and Assistant with PCB waste items at the PCB Long Term storage facility in compliance with state and federal environmental regulations, including inventory management and processing of waste
Help coordinate receipt of waste from other system facilities
Maintain supplies/Material/Equipment associated with facility management
Help with overseeing emergency response actions to control adverse environmental and public impact
Help coordinate facility waste disposal to minimize costs and maintain compliance
Help in the response to handle hazardous waste or oil spills in a timely manner
Communicate accurately and in a timely manner, information/facts/risks regarding environmental issues to employees and customers
Assist in the process of junk transformers and all oil filled electrical equipment for proper disposal and salvages sales
Help maintain environmental records, training records, spill reports, inspection reports, etc
Help with the operation of the oil reclaiming system for the equipment repair facility's own use
Help coordination efforts of contract labor employees to perform a variety of work including (but not limited to): process junk transformers, sampling of oil from electrical equipment, loading and unloading of trucks, manifesting and documenting all transactions related to electrical equipment and waste material
