Experience in fast-paced industrial lean environment preferred
Preferred 5+ years of work experience with BorgWarner
Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs
Reasoning ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Computer skills: Knowledge of SAP software, Leading to Lean, Excel Spreadsheet, PowerPoint Presentations
Ability to work with little direction and/or supervision
Strong communication skills between team, support groups, and/or plant leadership teams
Ability to stand for long periods of time, including during operation of stand-up lifts
Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs repetitively
Stepping up and down off lift; walking long distances over extended periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment
Repetitive motion activities including box cutting, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts

Responsibilities
Support 5S / Housekeeping activities as required
SAP entries and L2L (Leading to Lean) transactions required as needed
Support operations in gathering data and driving improvements with a specific focus on waste reduction, enabling material flow, quality and cost throughout their area of support
Create, analyze and deliver reports to all levels of the organization to gauge effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate and share ideas generated by the continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility
Safely perform all tasks assigned by Leadership including all positions within the Physical Logistics department
Demonstrate BW Core beliefs and be an example to all Material Operators
Support and drive self-development activities and department flexibility through learning multiple positions
Safely operate all equipment in the Materials Fleet including: Sit-down Forklifts, Stand Up Lifts (Both Reach and Pacer), Tuggers, Electric Jacks, BW company vehicle
Develop and document PC&L department work instructions
Be productive and motivated while completing assigned tasks on time
Audit task performance to standards
Assist in administration of daily operations management meetings
Work well with others and provide excellent customer service
