Payroll Implementation Specialist

Position Overview

Deel is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for Deel’s clients. This role involves leading and managing the full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer, proper system configuration, and a seamless transition for clients. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, guiding clients through setup and migration, and providing ongoing support and training.

Responsibilities

  • Project Set-up: Organize and run kick-off meetings with the onboarding team and clients. Deliver the implementation process and create, maintain, and manage project plans for successful client roll-outs.
  • Client and Project Management: Support project review calls (internal and external), coordinate and deliver on project streams, and manage any changes to the scope of work and delivery schedule.
  • Payroll Process Requirements: Define and set up agreed client payroll processes, establishing all necessary payroll and data requirements. Ensure timely and effective management of each client payroll calendar.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process documentation.
  • System Set-up and Parallel Payroll Process: Define, agree on, and configure all interfaces, reports, and system configurations to successfully deliver parallel and live payroll for the first two months, if applicable.
  • Go-live Transition, Sign-off and Documentation: Work with clients to obtain project sign-off, documenting all client-specific needs and processes to ensure validation and confirmation of project implementation.
  • Reporting: Generate reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data. Map GL reports as required.
