High School diploma or equivalent
1 year experience in a customer service setting
Mandatory Reporter training certificate (required as an employee; a plus if already held)
Ability to pass background check

Responsibilities

Coordinate services for patients receiving care from their provider
Manage all aspects of patients’ medical records
Provide support functions for the assigned provider
Perform duties in a calm, pleasant, accurate, and timely manner
Assist with safe and effective patient care under supervision of Patient Services Manager
Handle all registration desk functions, including patient registration, check-in, and check-out
Collect copayments and other patient owed account balances
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
Perform filing and scanning
Work mostly Monday-Friday daytime hours, with possible evenings and weekends; three days at Le Mars Clinic and one day at Remsen Clinic
