Responsibilities
As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, including setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, obtaining and documenting vital signs, evaluating vascular access, monitoring patients’ response to dialysis, and reporting any significant changes in patient condition to the supervisor. You will also collect and prepare lab samples, enter treatment data into the clinical application, and evaluate patients prior to termination of venous access.
