Patient Care Partner - PCU | Avera Heart Hospital at Abarca Health

The role involves rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays, with flexible schedules to cover all shifts and weekends as hospital needs demand.

A high school graduate or G.E.D. certificate is required (if hired after January 1, 2003), with completion of a CNA, Medical Assistant, PCA or similar program preferred, and 6 months to 1 year continuous experience in an acute care setting preferred.

BLS certification is required prior to the end of orientation, and basic EKG skills are required within 6 months of employment.

The position is located in Sioux Falls, SD at Avera Heart Hospital.

Strong candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a CNA, Medical Assistant, or PCA program, prior acute care experience, and the ability to obtain BLS certification and basic EKG skills quickly.
