Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead a work group comprised of Parts Information Authors and Coordinators to complete Parts Manuals for assigned NPI, CPI, and Revision projects
  • Make specific project assignments to work group members using appropriate authoring tools
  • Review day-to-day work to ensure work group members complete assignments on time and information is technically accurate and complete
  • Collaborate with Product Groups, Authorizations, and Dealers to ensure appropriate parts information is provided
  • Guide and assist work group in gathering information from various sources to ensure parts counter and service technicians have the parts information needed to order the correct part the first time
  • Act as key communicator to staff and management for Parts Authoring processes
  • Serve on appropriate teams to document, evaluate, establish new or change existing PID benchmarks, strategies, procedures, guidelines, and standards
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend authoring and delivery process improvements and software enhancements
  • Deliver New Product Introduction (NPI), Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and Revision projects for assigned products, ensuring the completed projects meet customer expectations for content, accuracy and timeliness
