Requirements

  • Some work experience in a manufacturing environment or similar
  • Knowledge of machines, equipment, and workplace safety
  • Ability or experience following directions and reading work instructions
  • Demonstrated ability or experience in effectively communicating with team members, including recognizing and adapting to a structured training program
  • High school or technical school graduate

Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed procedures in the processing of engine components throughout the chemical clean line process, using various methods in the preparation of the part for repair and overhaul
  • Perform various cleaning operations, such as chemical cleaning, power wash, nitric strip, paint strip and titanium oven bakes
  • Routinely use overhead cranes and ensure cleansing tank times and parameters are adhered to during the process
  • Demonstrate, on a consistent basis, the ability to follow detailed procedures
  • Accurately log all process and results in department job log
  • Communicate all work-related problems and issues with supervisors or other departments in a timely and efficient manner
