Requirements

Coursework or certification or 2 years industrial maintenance experience, including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, relating technical issues to business leadership
Willing to perform shift work and work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred: Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, pallet jacks, lifts, and more

Responsibilities

Follow set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety and safety of DC associates
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according to procedures
Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment
Maintain an organized work area and promote a safe working environment with the Maintenance department
Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates) to minimize downtime of equipment
Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures
Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment
Ensure workmanship is of highest quality
Assist with emergency repairs and troubleshoot conveyors, machinery, and electrical/controls systems in the Distribution Center
