High School Education or GED preferred
A minimum of one-year warehouse experience preferred
Good attention to detail
Ability to read batch labels
Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Must be team oriented and able to get along with others

Responsibilities

Wrap all outbound orders in designated loading zones in compliance with company procedures and standards
Ensure all pallets are built according to preferred methods and wrapped from bottom to top to avoid damage during transport
Notify supervisor of any issues
Confirm condition of product prior to loading, including cases and breakers
Ensure work is completed in a productive and timely manner
Keep pallets in work area wrapped according to dispatch times and on pace to avoid hindering loader productivity
Verify header labels are in upper right hand corner for loaders
Gather slip sheets and secure near wrapping stations for use during wrapping and inspection
Ensure work area is free of debris at all times
Help loaders by unloading trailers staged in doors containing pallets, blankets, straps, and debris; raise door, lock trailer to dock, and lower dock plate
Determine when produce blankets are no longer usable and alert Lead or Supervisor; dispose of soiled cooler blankets
Ensure Robo wrappers are clean and in good operational condition
Do not allow excess shrink wrap to build up around guide wheel; do not cut shrink wrap from rollers using a box cutter
Do not place stickers on any part of the equipment
Wipe down equipment at end of shift
Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area
Work in extreme temperatures of 100+ degrees and below freezing
